I was meant to go on a wine tour today but the weather was cold and stormy and the tour was cancelled. As both Raphael and I currently have heads full of snot we ended up staying home together and (sniffing, sneezing and coughing aside) it was a cool day – just the two of us hanging out, laughing, watching movies, reading (me) and playing guitar (him).
I did head out to the shops for supplies (Corenza, tissues, supper etc) and also got in the fixings for chilli hot chocolate as follows…
You simply pour 200ml full cream milk and 100ml cream per cup into a pan and heat it up with the slab of chocolate broken into it, cinnamon sticks to taste, and a whole chilli, de-seeded, and a vanilla pod.
Once it’s boiling let it simmer for a minute then strain and serve.
